All that’s on my mind: pastels against a glowing tan. Pretty white linen and cotton dresses—preferably from from Ibiza—draped over the body, hinting of skin. They’re only the slightest sheer under the 12 o’clock sun; and it’s at that moment of the day where Lolita sweetness becomes reminiscent of the islands and seventies and negligee.
From day to night, from work to a beach party—these Adlib dresses are meant to be worn minimally and beautifully. With black—black pumps, black handbag, and a black leather jacket are the only way to wear black with a creamy dress—for the cooler days, with delicious pastels for the Lolita days, and golden metallics for those Ibiza nights. And right now, on this beautiful, first day of June, I can’t help but to slip into a reverie of pretty little things. A dreamy, periwinkle Balenciaga sandal. A ladylike Dolce & Gabbana handbag, in a classic black leather. It’s been a favorite of mine since sometime last year… and a lavender platform sandal, from Casadei.
Lilacs are the loveliest against browned skin. As are blues.

Pastels are so lovely.Sounds like a perfect look for the beach and the sun. Time to get a little bit of sun.

Sun sun sun! I’m addicted. The irony of it all is that I work for a skincare brand; I’m constantly writing about and being told the importance of minimizing sun exposure. But I love a good tan! The trials and tribulations of life.
I’m pro-sunbathing. With it, however, comes a clause: SPF protection every few hours is an absolute must.
