Pourquoi pas? I’m always making lists, anyhow.
Angelina Jolie. For obvious reasons, besides the fact that—despite what people say—I’ll always see her as fantastic role model for women worldwide. Unabashedly badass, always herself, and such a classic (yet unconventional?) beauty. This woman knows what her assets are and sticks to the basics. Here’s to good style: simple dress with just enough detailing via an unusual collar, pleating, and pop of red. Stunning doesn’t seem to be the right word for this: it exudes power.
Kate Beckinsale. A beautifully cut bodice that frames a woman’s silhouette in all the right places does wonders (there’s nothing like a decolletage with a dusting of light-reflecting powder!). Perfect hair, perfect makeup, perfect accessories. It’s a bone-colored, mauve-y nude that complements her skintone beautifully (’tis an art, finding the perfect nude). Classic femininity and sensuality in a photograph; I’d say this just be my favorite gown on the Golden Globes red carpet.
Jessica Alba. A bit more glamorous than what I’d personally prefer, but she always pulls it off with utmost grace and elegance. This is glitz and opulence executed brilliantly, courtesy of the one and only house of Gucci. She’s another celebrity whose stylist truly understands the art of bringing out her complexion with the right color palette.
