Fall launched new @NewBottega with the house’s very own Matthieu Blazy at its helm—and it’s clear that Blazy knows how to make an entrance. Nothing was groundbreaking, and yet everything marched toward this next era with clarity. Clothes were markedly more relaxed and also not at all: the first look sent down the runway, a seemingly simple tank and denim ensemble, is made entirely of leather.
Luxury and leather, after all, are what Bottega Veneta does best.
Let’s talk color, too. Black, red, yellow, purple really are the colors of the season, and employed here, the palette is a particular standout on the leather goods. Of course the bags are good. They always are and will be (a Daniel Lee legacy); I’ll take one of each, please.
