Few brands are able to do a classic bag well without sacrificing modernity, or altogether abandoning the beauty of a timeless silhouette for trends’ or novelty’s sake. Fendi is a one in a handful of handbag designers, and therefore Fendi is cool (cool not being synonymous to “hip”).
Time is the true test of whether you need or want something, and here I am, loving it, still. Teen Vogue beauty editor Eva Chen dubbed it “the Renaissance woman of bags” given its versatility and undeniable chic-ness. It’s refreshing, the Fendi Chameleon duffle. Classic in silhouette, modern in details. She’s demure in femininity—undeniably feminine, but also androgynous. She is, after all, the Chameleon. From work to play, from now ’til forever.
A Renaissance woman, indeed, and especially when in that grey and cream combination.
