1. I spent the last month trying to recover from a new skincare line I’d been testing. While it wasn’t for me (a heartbreaking realization I refuse but have to come to), The Cure from Herbal Face Food has visibly expedited the healing process—a testament to how well it continues to work for me, one year later. Never have I been more relieved to stumble upon a fresh bottle in my beauty stash; I can’t believe I ever stopped using it.
2. The way most adults allocate their disposable income toward really good wine or a bottle of 1942 is how I approach health foods du jour. No, I haven’t succumbed to Erewhon sea moss, but yes, I did just receive my first shipment of The Coconut Cult probiotic yogurt. I’m liberal with the goopiness. It’s my weakness.
3. Unflattening a freshly embroidered L.L. Bean Boat and Tote will forever be an exceptionally satisfying experience. ASMR-worthy, too. (If you know, you know.)
4. This dress from The Line by K is one of the most flattering silhouettes Karla Deras has yet designed. I didn’t pick it up when the fall collection first launched, but when the second drop included a version in tomato red, any hesitation became an immediate yes. (Now I just need a reason to wear it.)
5. If you’re in L.A.: Nic’s on Beverly is my latest fixation. The Bianco pizza? Utterly indulgent. Baja tacos? Otherworldly. When my realtor told me that food was next-level here, I scoffed as a New York-adjacent Jersey girl. Fifteen pounds heavier and happier, I can confirm that L.A. is superior—especially if you’re plant-based or crave authentic Asian cuisine.
. . .
