1. So far, Rhode skincare is as good as I expected it would be, as was the Hailey Bieber smoothie if you care about that sort of thing. The former is out of stock again (I’m using everything sparingly in the meantime) and the latter, no longer a part of the Erewhon menu (a shame). Luckily I’m patient and particularly inspired in the food department as of late, but so far, no luck in mimicking the strawberry shortcake skin-loving perfection. Recipes and suggestions are welcome.
2. I’m completely enamored with fragrance again, an obsession no doubt reignited when working on this piece reviewing Van Cleef & Arpels perfumes. (It certainly doesn’t help that I’m within walking distance of a Le Labo either…)
3. This is the softest tank you’ll ever wear. I may be biased (I think the majority of my wardrobe is The Line by K or vintage) but I like what I like, you know? The older I get, the more pulled I am by comfort—and if something can make it look like I tried without sacrificing ease, I’m all in.
4. Wanderlust Creamery has the most decadent menu inspired by flavors around the world—Asia in particular—and without hyperbole: it is the best ice cream in all of Los Angeles.
5. R.I.P., Issey Miyake, a true visionary. I loved this piece honoring his life’s work, written by Rachel Tashjian.
