1. It’s hard to believe it’s nearly September. I’d ask where the time has gone, but for the first time in a long time I actually do know (what an incredible and full, fulfilling summer it’s been!)—and still, that doesn’t make the shift to back-to-school frenzy and promises of PSL lattes any less jarring. It certainly still feels like summer (thanks to global warming) but the moment temperatures dip below 70°, I’m immediately and exclusively wearing little sweaters and vintage knits—all of which are from RLT.
2. Speaking of seasonal shifts: I’m in the midst of a cathartic deep-clean of my space. My god does it feel good to just move, dust, and take inventory of what I have! Now if only I had a space for it all…
3. From the moment about-face‘s latest drop landed at my doorstep (or in actuality, in my arms at Little Beach House Malibu to celebrate the launch), I found myself consistently reaching for the Light Lock in Dare to Bare: a delicious caramel-glazed peach. It’s one of my favorite lip gloss formulas to date—light yet plush, yummy in both look and feel—but this shade especially is sheer summer perfection. True neutrals that work for my complexion without relying on mauve are hard to come by (I’m warm in overtone with cool undertones), so finding this feels like an accomplishment.
4. Another pride and joy, my personal library—something I actually had a hand in. This has been the summer of collecting vintage, and believe me when I say the pick-ups have been gooood.
5. Wide cotton headbands. Tiny chunky hoops. These Gentle Monsters. On repeat.
