1. I’ve had—without hyperbole—the best shopping month of my life. Hedonistic to a fault, yes, but who am I to resist the stylish wiles of the best of L.A. vintage before me? I don’t believe in mindless hauls but I do live for a curated show-and-tell (this is the position I’m taking)… although! If it never presents itself to the Internet, will it be like I’ve never really spent money at all? Credit card statements don’t lie, and neither does a burgeoning wardrobe (and dresser, and shelving unit)—but the stories that we tell ourselves eventually become our sacred truths… 2. I simply cannot go a week without Chaumont Vegan‘s egg and dukkah croissant sandwich. That, with their side salad (drizzled with lemon and olive oil) is just *chef’s kiss.* 3. It’s hard to believe that I once dedicated 12 weeks to reading one book a day (this was peak quarantine), only to now pick up a book exclusively when I’m on a plane, waiting for it to take flight.
