kate bosworth | calvin klein 2010 • Soft Sensibilities
{ kate bosworth in calvin klein fall/winter 2010 | image’ source: l e f a s h i o n } Red and beige, the color palette of Fall/Winter 2010. Who knew? It shouldn’t come across as a surprise; both are iconic in their own right, classic, feminine, yet all the while androgynous. Red is the color of the bold, the dangerous, the femme fatale with rouged lips and a coy smile, and beige the color of the soft-spoken sophisticate, chignon and all. Somehow such seemingly opposite colors work rather lovely together. The contrast is just perfect, one offsetting the strengths of the other. I especially love the two looks, above, of Kate Bosworth. She has always struck me as unconventionally beautiful. Wild, yet sophisticated, bohemian whilst grounded. The juxtaposition of all she stands for is what makes her unique. I admire her casual ensembles – although they are unlike my personal style – and I adore her red carpet looks. It’s always effortless with her. Always. It goes without saying, then, that she is one of my few celebrity style inspirations. The most important thing about these two looks is that sexy can be classy. To the ladies: remember…
