“Everything is a miracle. It is a miracle that one does not dissolve in one’s bath like a lump of sugar.”
—Picasso
Think about it—it’s true. Close your eyes, breathe in, breathe out, be thankful, grateful not even for what you have (if you’re reading this, you have a computer and internet—already you and I have been blessed with a world’s depth of knowledge!), but that you are. Our existence is kind of romantic and miraculous! Embrace it, relish it, cherish it.
Who are you? Where are you? What are you? Be happy with what you have and who you are, but being content is not synonymous with settling. Never fear striving for more; we are all capable of creating and achieving beautiful things.
I don’t really have an actual list today (it’s just me and my virtual soapbox). But if I did make one, at the top would be this:
I couldn’t be happier with where I am and who I’m becoming.
Can’t stop, won’t stop—just want more.
Live what you love.

I love this post. I try to live by these words everyday actually, it can be rather hard to do at times since I tend to be a perfectionist. So everyday I think of things in my life that make me happy, before I start my day but I’m always always trying for more. It is a hard balance to keep!

@Naghmeh: Aw, thank you! I’m the same way – as much as I love the idea of embracing the imperfect, I have been and will always be a perfectionist. Sometimes it’s incredibly stressful and maybe a little unhealthy at times, but I’m trying. And I agree – thinking of things in my life that make me happy does help. I have no problem in striving for more, but reminding myself to pick and choose priorities is even more important. x
