Maintenant. Life-consuming papers and seemingly countless exams and presentations are on the plate, but on the bright side, the semester is over in but a few days! Ah, winter break: a month and a half where I can just breathe. (Or so I tell myself until I undertake a new project, or reinvest heart-mind-soul-body into a current one.) In the mean time, triple-shot soy lattes and attempts at holding a headstand are keeping me (relatively) sane.
It’s the life of an Aries, I tell ya, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Do expect a two-part piece on the Yayoi Kusama “I Who Have Arrived in Heaven” exhibit over at the David Zwirner Gallery—I had an opportune moment in NYC and couldn’t pass the chance at visiting one of the most highly recommended art shows—this week. The exhibit closes Dec. 21, so plan a trip if you can spare the time The wait is anywhere from one to seven hours so although I’m not going to say it’s imperative, it’s definitely something special. In the meantime, however, hop on over to Instagram if you fancy a peek or two (and a trippy tour, too!) at my favorites; I’ve been an Insta-hoe all day today and refuse to apologize for the art-vomit on your newsfeed (if you’re a follower, that is).
And that’s it for today—until next time, babes.
. . .
