The most feminine piece, whose construction bears the story of decades – even centuries – of history: history of the woman, the clothing, the culture, and the life of years past. The piece that, over the course of time, started as an undergarment and became a top suitable for outerwear. It is the representation of the woman’s past and present, and a symbol of sex. The leather lace-ups become icons of the goth or of dominatrixes; the lighter, girlier versions such as the one above, is a more playful than the first.
