About that.
It’s actually 60 degrees out—which I’m positive is way above sweater weather—but when you run cold and run out of spring clothes to wear in (ahem) mid-November, you succumb to those chunky knits you’ve been collecting all summer long.
I’ve been itching to wear this one for months now; I snapped it up during H&M‘s (similar) late summer sale in anticipation for winter. It was everything I needed a practical piece to be: chunky, yet lightweight; textured, not itchy. The massive turtleneck was what sold me, to be honest, despite the fact that it’s two sizes too big and quite possibly makes me look more like a linebacker than simply chic. I’m sure I can claim that I’m going for that trendy late 70s/early 80s vibe by pairing it sky-high skinny jeans and suede over-the-knee boots, but whatever. It’s cozy, period.
