Summer’s coming to an end, I can feel it.
(It’s grey and drizzling today. Monsoon-like showers are in the cards, but I’ve also come not to trust my local meteorologist. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…)
Fiiine, we have six weeks left. Six weeks, you say, but do you know how fast time flies? Faster than six weeks, let me tell you, so rather than get hit with the end fast, I’m mentally preparing myself for autumn. The leather jackets are starting to resurface…
Bitterness aside, it’s been an incredible summer thus far. Under normal circumstances I’d raise a glass (of sangria, duh) to toast, but recent experience has shown that I’m not particularly good with those kind of emotional-heavy things, so I’ll keep it short and sweet:
Cheers to a beautiful summer thus far, and here’s to hoping it’ll last a whole lot longer. Here’s to celebrating with one of my favorite editorials of all time, featuring Linda Evangelista shot by Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia, February 1989. Heat, sensuality, and vibrancy, all captured in one shoot.
. . .
