A lot has happened since the public proclamation of my aversion to the color pink: I met a boy, I bought a bag, I met another boy—all the while wearing out yet another pair of dancing shoes—and bought bar of expensive chocolate. In the midst of all that (and schoolwork, of course), I managed to forgo this unspoken silent treatment with pink. First, there was a blouse. Then a nail polish. Followed by a lipstick, a brassiere set, a blush, and the rest is history.
What better way to celebrate the beginning of February than an ode to all things pink?

P.S.: VS Pink sweatpants are more neon than they appear. I have no shame.

The color pink represents compassion, nurturing and love. It relates to unconditional love and understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing.
