A current fixation.
Chia seeds soaked in oat milk (one without most of the additives, if possible) and a scoop of vegan collagen creamer—with a teaspoon of raw honey for more sweetness if you’re in the mood. Mix well and let it sit for a few hours or until the chia seeds plump up considerably—then continue with the base. Mix double the amount of a creamy yogurt (I’m partial to Trader Joe’s cashew yogurt), a generous dash of cinnamon, and then one more for good measure.
The fun part comes next: two apricots (halved), a fistful of blueberries, freeze-dried strawberries, cacao chips, a drizzle of raw almond butter; and the pièce de résistance: a scoop of Flamingo Estate Heritage Red Raspberry Jam.
Devour with gusto and a re-run of Gilmore Girls. (A bit of advice, if you’re still reading this: size matters. It tastes even better in an oversized latté mug and one of those tiny dessert spoons—there’s some science behind it, I’m sure.)
