It’s hard to believe that already, it’s been a little over a month since I landed in Taipei. Somehow it feels like I only just flew back last week, but it feels as though I never left L.A., too. Like that trip was more a figment of my imagination than an actual destination—unshakable like a lucid dream or some crossover with an alternate universe—lingering and always on my mind, but too hazy to be real. I wonder if it’s just me who experiences this post-travel? 2. I had the honor of seeing the newly launched Thirteen Lune boutique in Larchmont earlier this week. The brand curation is stellar, the merchandising beautiful, and quite frankly: it’s a refreshing take in a world oversaturated by Ultas and Sephoras. selfmade in particular stood out—largely because I was able to chat with its founder, Stephanie Lee, but eventually, it would’ve been hard to miss a brand that’s genuinely bridging the gap between beauty and wellness.
