And the surprising thing was: I instantly fell in love. It’s just a bit weird, perhaps a bit alarming that I even thought that, nonetheless publicly proclaimed my love for LV’s most recent collection for all the world to see. I’ve never really liked the brand; usually I’d just overlook it with the occasional bits of “What was Marc Jacob thinking?!” for it was always just so… blah (for lack of a better word – or sound, for that matter – to describe LV). But the Resort Collection, on the other hand, was incredible & impeccably simple yet beautifully structured. Either it’s the apocalypse/I’ve gone insane or Louis Vuitton has taken a turn. Perhaps I’m biased when I say that it is definitely the latter, in the sense that I probably would rather not call myself insane (just yet). But all of that aside, I am not one to fall in love with the monogram emblazoned bags (*ahem* Louis Vuitton, guilty as charged).
