I must admit that I’m childishly excited to see the revealing of the MAC’s Hello Kitty collection, come February (in only a week!). Already it’s much awaited debut has received polar reactions; there are those who hate the idea, thinking it too immature of a collaboration, whereas others, like myself, fans of the thirty-four year old kitten, are ecstatic for its debut. Perhaps not suitable for every girl/woman, considering that the color palettes will, of course, consist mainly of bright pinks, one must keep in mind that MAC wanted to direct the particular cosmetics to a younger fans. A more “grown-up” version of the little white kitten once dressed in overalls and stripes, perhaps? Clad in go-go boots sprawled across patent accessories (clutches, cosmetic bags, and little vanity sets!) and appearing in the form of a black vinyl plush doll, Hello Kitty…
<thumbnail_url>http://lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/hk-mac-1.jpg</thumbnail_url></oembed>
