The Chinese Olympics Opening Ceremony has been unlike another…it is indescribable – the beauty, the technology, the choreography, and most importantly, the symbolism. I cannot fathom how amazing and beautiful it has been so far, surpassing all ceremonies that preceded it. Period. I still cannot make into words how amazing it has been; the symbolism of every act, of every costume, of the order of each act, of every minute detail was planned and executed. I must give credit to the costumes – they were extraordinary, produced in the thousands. The detail and reflection of the Chinese culture fused with that of modernity with each costume change is impeccable. To commemorate and celebrate 2008’s Olympics, Ralph Lauren has designed a collection of polos especially for the U.S. Team as well as the Beijing Olympics. Here are my favorites (I think I will buy one or two for myself): I do wish I was in that very stadium in Beijing right now.","thumbnail_url":"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_y7roXIltWmk\/SJzx-sRDjPI\/AAAAAAAAAN8\/Ny9oRB-5hq8\/s320\/olympics.jpg"}
