The piece that, over the course of time, started as an undergarment and became a top suitable for outerwear. It is the representation of the woman&#8217;s past and present, and a symbol of sex. The leather lace-ups become icons of the goth or of dominatrixes; the lighter, girlier versions such as the one above, is a more playful than the first. I adore this outfit: pin-ups girls gone innocent, I say. The floral corset is playful yet a bit sophisticated; an oxymoron in itself: it&#8217;s shape is, of course, quite revealing, yet its print is prim and proper.
