Although Sulwhasoo isn&#8217;t new to me\u2014I&#8217;ve been using their lip mask and cushion compacts long before K-beauty embedded itself into the American beauty vernacular\u2014this particular collection is a fairly recent addition to my current line-up. I&#8217;m still testing my gifted samples (rather gingerly, because my skin has been fickle as late), but the First Care Activating Serum stands out of all the ginseng-fueled products used thus far. It&#8217;s so water-light that except for that immediate burst of freshness, the formula is barely perceptible the moment it kisses your skin.
