I’ve always been fascinated by ear piercings. They’re easy, they’re pretty, and they’re fun\u2014making them the ultimate accessory and finishing touch. I find that even when I’m dressed down to the max (we’re talking leggings and sweats, people), a pair of super-thin sterling hoops instantly edges things up. Or, when I’m\u00a0sans<\/em> makeup and my hair is pulled up, earrings make me feel just womanly enough where I’m less likely to be mistaken for a little boy.<\/p>\n

For the longest time I avoided getting more than just one hole in each ear; I’m the product of pretty traditional parents and the corporate world, so I’m easily wary of anything that doesn’t fall within the “norm.”<\/p>\n

Long story short, I bit the bullet. I’ve wanted at three or four more holes for a few years now, and with this current itch for change<\/a>\u00a0coupled with the imminent #quarterlifecrisis, this happened yesterday and I\u00a0couldn’t<\/em> be happier:<\/p>\n
