I meant to write this last weekend, but didn’t for whatever reason (okay, I was lazy)\u2014but turns out, it was better suited for today.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Future is Female, by\u00a0Otherwild<\/em><\/a><\/p><\/div>\n

I spent last weekend in Boston for the sole purpose of seeing my core girls again. These are women I met in high school and have never let go of since even through college, and despite being spread across the East Coast.<\/p>\n

Ideal? Not really, but I wouldn’t trade what I have with them for the world.<\/p>\n

There’s a reason why we continue to come back to each other. Comfort, sure\u00a0(<\/em>it’s been a decade of friendship)\u00a0<\/i>but you know you’ve found\u00a0the<\/em> one when you leave feeling uplifted and inspired. Not many people know how to give anymore\u2014they just take, take,\u00a0take<\/em>\u2014<\/em>so after a day of being surrounded by bodies, I’m left feeling drained. Grey.\u00a0Tired<\/em>. And yet when I’m with these three incredible women, I want nothing more than to be better, do more, and watch\u00a0them soar. I couldn’t be more proud of them. And they couldn’t be more proud of me.<\/p>\n

Surround yourself with women who support you, lift you,and ground you, too. <\/a><\/strong><\/h1>\n

When you find your tribe, it’s magic.<\/a>

Which leads me to this: Vote tomorrow. Vote like your life depends on it, because girl,\u00a0it does<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow’s Election Day isn’t about making history. It’s about making sure your voice, your tribe, all women, all\u00a0people<\/em> matter. Because\u00a0when they go low, we go high<\/strong><\/em>. *<\/p>\n
