Hello, hi, it’s me again.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mondays are fine\u2014except I can’t find my bullet journal anywhere for the life of me. The irony, right? Having lost the very thing that was meant to keep me organized means that my life is now in shambles.<\/p>\n

(Well, not quite. But I\u00a0did<\/em> lose the one place where all my brain dumps made sense\u00a0and<\/em> were in one place, instead of in random new notes on my phone.)<\/p>\n

But enough about a lost, 20-dollar notebook [Ed’s note: The Leuchtturm1917 A5 has been found!]<\/em>.\u00a0I’m currently at Dunkin Donuts, writing this in an effort to pass the time between my day job and side hustle more productively. At this point, my coffee is lukewarm; I’ve been sipping it slowly for the past hour so I have reason to occupy a table (and not be side-eyed by the staff for loitering). Tomorrow it’ll be the same story. Different day, different coffee shop, same routine.<\/p>\n

It’s been like that for the past year. I work my 9-to-5:30 (or 6:30 these days, because the workload is never-ending), I find a place with free Wi-Fi to get caffeinated and scroll through Instagram, then head to Studio X, Y, or Z to either rehearse or run rehearsals. It’s all well and good until I suddenly need to find six hours to get approximately 7200 Swarovski crystals on my newest salsa costume.<\/p>\n

Seven thousand, two hundred crystals.<\/em><\/p>\n

And not one, not two, but\u00a0six<\/em> hours of free time.\u00a0Ha.<\/em><\/p>\n

I’m not complaining. I actually love being busy; I tend to work best under time pressure because I’m\u00a0a masochist<\/em><\/del>\u00a0an adrenaline junkie who loves a good challenge. And while that fairs well for “career” and “dancer” Kim, me\u2014the writer, the reader, the\u00a0girl who used to stay up late on school nights after dance team\/JSA\/homework to blog\u2014gets the short end of the stick.<\/p>\n

…which is why I’ve been MIA on my little corner of the internet. But once this cha-cha costume is fully bedazzled, you bet I’ll be back here full force, tip-tap-typing away.<\/p>\n

Until then, I’m stoning ’til the cows come home.<\/p>\n
