And has anyone heard of the white button-down\u2014a supposed classic? We&#8217;re not, however, playing I-spy-hypocrisy-in-fashion (although it&#8217;d be an entertaining game). But speaking of white shirts: yes, they are one of the fundamentals in any wardrobe as well as the ultimate transitional piece from summer into fall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Not to mention, they accentuate a (fading tan) and never fail to make you look\u00a0<em>that<\/em> much more put together. <strong>They&#8217;re essentially the top equivalent of blue jeans<\/strong>: sophistication and demure sex appeal sans the effort, perfect for the lazy girl who&#8217;s not quite lazy enough to reach for her yoga pants and UGGs <em>just<\/em> yet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There&#8217;s the crisp white shirt for work. The semi-sheer, floaty blouse with balloon sleeves. The romantic, ruffly version slightly reminiscent of the Victorian. Classic, Peter Pan or simply no collars at all. Options are endless, so there are no excuses: <strong>a style exists for everyone<\/strong>, even for those with unconventional leanings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paired with the tailored black pant for work, black denim for a night out, blue denim for everyday, tucked into skirts&#8230; the list goes on. Feeling chilly? Add a fitted little blazer. Wanting to channel Michelle Obama? Slip into a cardigan. And for the days we want to be in touch with our inner bad girl, shimmy into a leather jacket. <strong>Shimmying is optional, of course, but trust\u2014it&#8217;s far more fun that way<\/strong>.
