<\/p>\nI was quite in love with Erin Fetherston’s Spring\/Summer RTW Collection!\u00a0The first piece that caught my eye was the feminine brocade in white satin and metallic yellow embroidery on a trench – it was light, much like icing on a cake. In fact, all of her jackets were so beautifully constructed yet light on the body. The gladiator shoes in cream leather were just as lovely – I am craving for a pair! And then the dresses – it reminds me of Marchesa’s previous shapes, with volume at the bottom of the dress or mini. Where Marchesa used rich, heavy fabrics, Fetherston used airy ones (chiffon, I think?) to achieve the ethereal aura she is known for. After viewing the whole collection, I’ve decided that her inpsiration was cake; the metallic embroidery and bows are the sprinkles and such, and the poufs of volume, the icing. (The pastel colors were so delicious!)<\/p>\n
