I can barely wrap my head around the fact that this is Ambush’s<\/strong><\/a> debut show in Milan; it was an incredible catwalk. Yoon Ahn’s eye is determined and her execution, precise: there’s vision found in every detail.<\/p>\n

Fetish may not have been the focal point, but there’s a clear line of inspiration between the dominatrix coats and platform shoes, buckled up the knee or thigh depending on the vibe, then a heart-shaped box bag to lighten the mood. A girlish attitude despite the aggression (those defined, exaggerated silhouettes) seem to hint at Ahn’s personal taste: juxtaposition, it seems, is the theme. Giant blazers were worn with bloomers and the reimagined Mary Jane. Big shearling coats were sent down the runway, then itty-bitty versions were made so tiny, so cropped, that the effect was more like a bustier. A cozy one.<\/p>\n

And that chainmail dress! A-shaped links that made the most dance-worthy mini for late nights out on the town again.<\/p>\n
