The highly anticipated line by Elsa Hosk launched today and as expected, Helsa<\/a>‘s first collection does not <\/em>disappoint. The brand is meant to embody the effortless yet architectural, highlighting the cornerstones of Swedish streetstyle sensibilities. Workwear detailing and pared-back staples capture the very hallmarks beloved within Hosk’s own style evolution; 90s minimalism and silhouettes are made signatures within the Helsa aesthetic, too.<\/p>\n

Pieces have already sold out, of course\u2014but lucky for me, my insomnia proved useful. Sometime between 1 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. PST I thought\u00a0maybe<\/em> I’d just give Helsa a quick search on FRWD<\/a> and lo and behold: the full collection was up in anticipation of the announcement later in the day. Luck was the only\u00a0<\/em>reason I was able to snap up this cream cargo maxi skirt<\/a> and pleated mini skort<\/a> (something that I’d never normally buy given my aversion to short hemlines, but after months of seeing\u00a0that<\/em> Miu Miu mini,\u00a0Helsa had me a skort<\/em>). If I weren’t so short (and trying to get by in the midst of the Californian heat wave), this faux leather coat<\/a> would be mine in a heartbeat. The belts<\/a> are so good too\u2014perfect width, great hardware\u2014and I’d be remiss not to note a slight tinge of regret for getting the full forest green outfit (turtleneck<\/a> and matching contrast-stitch cargos<\/a>).<\/p>\n
