I still haven’t put away the stack I amassed after my most bookish weekend yet\u2014in part because I haven’t a shelf to spare (or any surface area, for that matter), but mainly because I still<\/em> can’t fathom what I was able to find. Half came from the Printed Matter Art Book Fair<\/a>, where I became enamored with dmp editions<\/a>, a Taiwanese-based bookmaker that highlights the island’s artists, and pois \u00e9<\/a>, an L.A.-based publisher that finds\u2014and marries\u2014poetry in the verbal and visual. Then, to the Atelier \u00c9ditions<\/a> showroom I went for the opening night of “TSUNDOKU: On Collecting Books,” an exhibit that not only spoke to my soul, but featured Book\/Shop<\/a>: a faraway favorite, someday pilgrimage.<\/p>\n
