Some (late) Monday inspiration to celebrate a beautiful day and beautiful mood.\u00a0I love Mondays<\/a>, I do.\u00a0And today is no exception\u2014<\/span>waking up to early morning sunlight, finally\u00a0finishing round two of exams,\u00a0neon orange nails<\/a> and a golden tan\u2014all topped with packages of goodies in the post. I end the night with salsa, and it’s the start of a new week. Naive? Perhaps. I’ll take it.<\/em><\/p>\n

There’s this notion about color that comes highly misguided. Color is juvenile, and lack of it\u2014in the form of black\u2014is all things serious and seductive. There’s no denial in the truth of such a generalization, but when color is done\u00a0right<\/em>, color can be empowering in every sense.<\/strong> It’s magnetic. It attracts<\/em>. It is the power of positive dressing upon the woman and all around her.<\/p>\n

I love my blacks, but come spring summer, all I crave is color<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Color, color<\/em>, color.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I miss editorials, like this, that merge the world of high fashion and wearability in one. It’s striking. Memorable.\u00a0Covetable<\/em>. A classic sixties look\u2014Lana Del Rey curls, winged liner, paired with long red nails\u2014to complement a clean palette whites. A wardrobe of ivory, lingerie-inspired pieces are both the background and foreground to colorful handbags and jewels…<\/p>\n
