It\u2019s my idea of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.perezhilton.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Perez<\/a>, only, nothing. Ever. Happens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I\u2019m not really a fan of gossip, anywho. More observations\u2014<a href=\"http:\/\/wp.me\/p6xDPX-52\" target=\"_blank\">a continuation from my previous entry<\/a>\u2014via people watching and mild eavesdropping:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>College romances are silly. Am I being realistic or cynical? Let me know.<\/li>\n<li>There are a lot of people who look around aimlessly. Perhaps that\u2019s why so many college kids smoke\u2014they\u2019re so bored they start that up. To occupy time. And their hands. I thought that\u2019s what texting was for\u2026?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Moments Later&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2026and I am no longer in my little corner. Currently sitting in a monotonous, kind of useless lecture, making my presence there productive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">I\u2019ve come to realize that I find boys who write in cursive to be attractive. Sexy, even. Since I\u2019ve made the correlation that cursive writers are typically artistic, creative, and more sensitive.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">I need an inconspicuous thing in which to write. I love a beautifully-bound journal, but it&#8217;s kind of bougie, no? A composition notebook, perhaps? Ugh, they\u2019re so unattractive though, and remind of the days pre-college ruled, lined paper.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The one interesting thing gathered from the otherwise boring lecture:\u00a0<strong>the gaze is the idea of looking, and being looked at<\/strong>.\u00a0<em>Interesting<\/em>. A woman who looks\u2014or gazes, rather\u2014invites intimacy. She invites a challenge. It is an invitation where the RSVP is unnecessary. It\u2019s a demand. (Let&#8217;s counter that with a discussion on how the male gaze, and the feminist perspective of this marketing idea.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Just stuff to think about.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">. \u00a0 . \u00a0 .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">\u00a0x<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Read Part I of my diary here. . \u00a0 . \u00a0 .
