There\u2019s nothing like overusing descriptions and adjectives.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">. \u00a0 . \u00a0 .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Recently started Pilates, in the comfort of my own home. And yoga. Scrap the gym-going days\u2014I\u2019m making these things a daily routine.\u00a0<strong>It\u2019s incredible how pilates makes you feel at one with your body.<\/strong>\u00a0After half an hour I feel better. More beautiful. More confident about my body. I\u2019m even tempted to say sexier\u2014as in more womanly. I\u2019d highly recommend you all get yourself a mat, a small chunk of your day, and something super cute from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/shop.lululemon.com\/products\/clothes-accessories\/women-shorts-skirts-and-dresses\/Boogie-Short-32820?cc=8431&amp;skuId=3410838&amp;catId=women-shorts-skirts-and-dresses\" target=\"_blank\">Lululemon<\/a>. I don\u2019t believe in wearing\u00a0baggy or ratty university tee-shirts when exercising. No one feels good in them (or maybe I\u2019m the odd one here) and you\u2019re not allowing yourself to see your body. How it moves, tones and\u00a0<em>improves<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">At the moment I\u2019m simply watching online classes from Youtube (how very chic, I know). Any suggestions on Pilates DVDs to invest in? Or cute things to wear? Spill. I\u2019d love to know! x<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Peanut butter and sliced bread were incredible to me throughout my grade school (and up through high school) years. I missed the simplicity and memories that came with such traditional an American lunch. I found something\u00a0<em>better\u00a0<\/em>(this is when you all gasp and declare my statement a complete blasphemy). Almond butter.\u00a0<strong><em>Almond butter!<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0On toast.\u00a0<em>Mm<\/em>. Perhaps I\u2019m biased because I love snacking on almonds, but there\u2019s something about almond butter that\u2019s just far more holistic. It\u2019s creamy, but still retains a bit of graininess. The flavor is earthy, rich, but not heavy. An indulgence and a source of protein? Hurrah!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022\u00a0Green tea + honey. Addicted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Starbucks soy chai tea latte, easy on the ice. Also addicted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">\u2022\u00a0I won\u2019t bore you with food and drink descriptions anymore, promise.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">\u2022\u00a0My personal style\u2019s changed a bit over the past year under the influence of college life, for better or for worse. Worse, in my mum\u2019s opinion, and in hindsight, I can wholeheartedly agree. The lesson: mother is always right. But I digress. My style\u2019s heading back in the direction of<strong>\u00a0classic, feminine fashion\u2014<\/strong>in part due to my daily work attire. Totally enamored by 1950s and 1970s women and their fashions, bombshells of the 60s and 70s (Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin just to name two), and 90s supermodels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">But I do have a point. Fashion will always change around you, influencing your perspective and how you dress. Remaining true to your vision\u2014dress style and otherwise\u2014however, is a task to be considered and mastered in order to understand yourself. I\u2019m still in the growing process (clearly) of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/kimberlypearl.co\/blog\/tag\/defining-style\/\" target=\"_blank\">defining my style, my\u00a0<em>self<\/em><\/a>. I\u2019ll get there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">Despite all the changes, lessons were gained and learned. And I can say with the utmost confidence that I couldn\u2019t be happier with where I am, who I am and who I\u2019m becoming.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">. \u00a0 . \u00a0 .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Your turn, mes\u00a0<em>ch\u00e9ries.
