1. Great hair, or\u2026<\/p>\n

2. A great bag.<\/p>\n

(Inner-confidence kind of goes without saying.)<\/p>\n

Now, having both would be ideal, but keeping in mind that to greed is a deadly sin and maintaining both may leave a girl\u2019s funds scant, option number two is the cheaper alternative.<\/p>\n

You see, curling irons are a beautiful thing. Investing in that one hair tool (along with a heat protectant spray and finishing serum) can make a world of a difference even with the unsightliest of haircuts\u2014personal experience justifies this claim\u2014and uplift (literally) a less-than-fabulous day. Not to mention, every woman looks better with a bit of tousled volume. Believe in the power of loose curls! However: imperfection is essential. Anything too perfect is irking, for one. But immaculate ringlets chime playground chic, and assuming that none of us are after resembling Shirley Temple, I\u2019ve established that the bigger, the messier, the better. For that\u00a0je ne sais quoi<\/em>, bed head, sex hair.<\/p>\n

My current curling iron (a super-cheap Revlon one with a massive barrel) is dying on me. It\u2019s been a good two years, but I\u2019m ready for big leagues, now, and to upgrade from a boy to a\u00a0man<\/em>. I\u2019ve been flirting with one in particular: the\u00a01 \u00bd Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium\u2122 Spring Curling Iron. Quite the mouthful literally and physically (I love a big barrel,\u00a0no pun intended).\u00a0And<\/em>\u00a0he sounds super strong and all sorts of tech-savvy. A keeper, my mother would say.<\/p>\n

He\u2019d create perfectly-sized curls to which I could muss up later and spritz with a texturizing spray for more of the Bardot effect.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s rare to for such a catch to come cheap, but at $49.99 (!) instead of its usual $79.99, I\u2019m ready to take \u201cSingle\u201d off my\u00a0Facebook\u00a0status.<\/p>\n

But on the days I\u2019m in the mood for a sleek mane that exudes Bond spy girl, the James Bond to my hair woes would be the\u00a0Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium straightener<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hair style is the final tip-off whether or not a woman really knows herself.<\/p>\n
