Pretty pictures are always lovely; an aesthetically-appealing arrangement satisfies the innate, human longing for <em>stasis<\/em>. I quite like the luxuriousness of these three particular images. Couture, boudoir, and French with a side of iced coffee <em>au lait,<\/em> highly caloric donuts<em>, <\/em>and sexy men at your side. It seems quite close to perfection, <em>non<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some thoughts, baubles, and ramblings for your perusal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently working on part II of the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/kimberlypearl.co\/blog\/tag\/defining-style\/\"><em>Defining Style<\/em><\/a><\/strong> series; I know it should have been published sooner, but perfecting it is difficult. Be on the lookout for it within the next few weeks&#8230;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The past two weeks of spring break were spent in the ever-so-glamorous suburbia of New Jersey. Usually I would complain (or drone, take your pick) about how painfully monotonous it is, but in reality, it was one of the best breaks I&#8217;ve yet had. If you follow me on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/kimberlypearl_\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>, you&#8217;ve seen constant updates about dance crew practices (and coffee runs&#8230;). Three of my closest friends and I had decided to form a dance crew, which we haphazardly named XYZ (long story short: we couldn&#8217;t think of a name, and strung letters together in a coherent, hopefully aesthetic order). We have a competition coming up soon, and hopefully, more performances to come.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dance has officially consumed my life with the end of dance team and the musical. And I am wholly okay with that. Only few will understand my obsession with finding <em>the<\/em> perfect dance ensembles, sneakers (I never thought I&#8217;d see the day I&#8217;d love them&#8230;), music, dance, choreography, dance crews, dancing boys, etc. My favorite choreographers and dancers at the moment: Kyle Hanagami, Alex Bullon, Ellen Kim, and Geo Hubela.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most \u00a0<em>a m a \u00a0z i n g <\/em> 18th birthday celebration with the <em>best.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the iPod: &#8220;OMG&#8221; by Usher | &#8220;Not Myself Tonight&#8221; by Christina Aguilera (it so happened to be fitting for my 18th festivities!) | &#8220;Like a G6&#8221; by Far*East Movement | &#8220;Lil Freak&#8221; by Usher | &#8220;Eat You Up&#8221; by BoA | &#8220;Energetic&#8221; by BoA | &#8220;Carry Out&#8221; by Timbaland feat. Justin Timberlake.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">My nail varnish addiction has officially reached an all time high.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8230; and so has my caffeine addiction&#8230;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">I love Starbucks with every caffeine-addicted fiber of my being. And my love is not unrequited either from the rather adorable boys in that fabulous green apron and black polo. Case in point (this would be my on my birthday):<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Cast of Characters, in order of appearance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Moi<\/em>, played by yours truly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Starbucks Boy<\/em>, played by none other than a Starbucks employee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Scene 1<\/strong>: At a local Starbucks, around 2 PM. <em>The weather is quite lovely, finally warm enough to make coffee runs in a dress, flats, and large sunnies. The cafe is brightly lit rather brightly from the unabashed sun, throwing off the usual ambiance of Starbucks&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Starbucks Boy<\/strong>: \u201cBack again so soon?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Moi<\/strong>: \u201cYeah (<em>laughs<\/em>). I only have a slight addiction to\u00a0caffeine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Starbucks Boy<\/strong>: &#8220;So the second frapp\u2019s for your date\/boyfriend? Even though it\u2019s weird that you\u2019re buying\u00a0it&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Moi<\/strong>: \u201cHaha oh God no &#8211; it\u2019s for my little\u00a0brother!\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Starbucks Boy<\/strong>: &#8220;Ah; good good. Will I be seeing you again in about two hours?
