Every week thus far this summer has been jam-packed with something or another, and it keeps getting better! I promise you, I&#8217;m normally not this peppy, nor am I usually watching a rom-com on a lazy Sunday afternoon, but some combination of Aunt Flo, sweet Mallorca bread and too much Starbucks has me doing all sorts of crazy things. I&#8217;m also wearing tons of color and have this insatiable urge to shave the side of my head <em>a la<\/em> Serena Cuevas, but that&#8217;s just my almost-quarter-life-crisis speaking to you. (However, it doesn&#8217;t help that friends and strangers alike are encouraging said bold cut&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>Do let me elaborate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It&#8217;s a rarity that I have a moment to breathe, let alone sprawl across cotton sheets for an hour-and-change to <del><em>waste<\/em><\/del>\u00a0spend on a film. In fact, I prefer not to have that much time on my hands; I don&#8217;t know what relaxation is (five hours of sleep is plenty), so when it&#8217;s shoved into my ungrateful hands, I never know what to do with it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But I&#8217;ve been on high speed since high school, and over the past two years, on full throttle. I&#8217;ve had more than enough moments of mental exhaustion, and let&#8217;s not count the physical stuff: every other <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/abitcoquettish\">tweet<\/a> is 140-characters of just how much my feet ache. And yet I wouldn&#8217;t have it any other way. Being on the go is what I know best. Plus, life&#8217;s short. I&#8217;m only 21 once\u2014let me do everything I can, and more, while it&#8217;s still emotionally\/mentally\/physically possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For once I&#8217;m enjoying this one-hour-and-change window, stretching out tired limbs on this full-sized bed, involuntarily smiling at Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher&#8217;s exchanges, tearing out and collaging beautiful images.
