Hence his recent collections&#8217; perpetual\u2014albeit unintentional\u2014 autumnal vibe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And collection after collection, Kors continue to prove that he does retro references justice\u2014and well. There&#8217;s hints of a time bygone, but it&#8217;s never so literal it reads dated or inauthentic. It&#8217;s just good stuff: good, classic American sportswear that appeals to women across the board. Timeless pieces get an update with what Kors does best\u2014make things look sexier, sleeker, more modern\u2014by way of lighter fabrics and raised hemlines. Take the trenchcoat, for example: it&#8217;s more dress-like than coat. Cashmere and mohair sweaters are tiny and cropped. A-line skirts go skater, shorter, and amped up in leather\/python. The quintessenial shirt-dress forgo the sterile, frock-like look with two unapologetic, thigh-high slits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Oh she&#8217;s proper, this Michael Kors girl.
