Mine&#8217;s just been a bit stressful, with projects and tests every so often. Other than that, all has been just peachy. And here&#8217;s to the second TiLT list &#8211; I do love that it has arrived just when I needed a bit of a pick-me-up. Here&#8217;s to Thursdays, the day that&#8217;s one day closer to the weekend.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-659 aligncenter\" title=\"things-i-love-2\" src=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/things-i-love-2.jpg?resize=500%2C279\" alt=\"things-i-love-2\" width=\"500\" height=\"279\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/heart5.jpg?w=840\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0I just received my Barnes &amp; Noble order! I do get very much excited when I order books online; now I have something to pour over. An excuse to relax, I call it, whilst educating myself. My fingers are itching to look through Nina Garcia&#8217;s <em>The Little Black Book of Style<\/em> (already the illustrations are wondrous!). And I am dying to read<em> Le Petit Prince<\/em>. I had ordered the original in hopes of improving my French (it&#8217;s one of my aspirations: to be able to speak\/read French fairly well. At least well enough to understand Vogue and Elle Paris without just blindly flipping through to look at spreads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/heart5.jpg?w=840\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0These bullets make me happy. I love hearts \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/heart5.jpg?w=840\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0All of your encouraging comments have truly made my day on a daily basis. And this photograph, too, from French Glamour just fits perfectly with the song. The vintage wash, the ethereal qualities, &amp; the innocence was all captured in perfection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/heart5.jpg?w=840\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0Decorating the Christmas tree! It&#8217;s quite the long process &#8211; but I hardly mind.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/heart5.jpg?w=840\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0Polyvore-ing. And yes, I did just make it into a verb. It is quite addicting &amp; fun to make little outfit posts of clothes I wish I owned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/heart5.jpg?w=840\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0Baking! I just found some lovely, lovely recipes for cupcakes &#8211; I cannot wait for an occasion to arise so I can try the pink velvet and lavender one!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/heart5.jpg?w=840\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0Making mental wishlists of what I would love to receive for Christmas. Perhaps it is a tad early for such wishful thinking, but I am entitled to dream, aren&#8217;t I? And it is quite fun. This is when the &#8220;if only&#8221;&#8216;s come about&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/heart5.jpg?w=840\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0Waking up abnormally early in the morning and drinking a nice cup of hot tea. Eating a hearty breakfast and enjoying the luxury of taking my time to get ready is relaxing, as opposed to every other day. It&#8217;s a change of a scene as well; it&#8217;s much quieter &#8211; for once, the world is at rest, letting their dreams and imagination breathe. It&#8217;s such a pity knowing that so many dreams and aspirations are shackled by society&#8217;s perception of this so-called practicality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/heart3.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-655\" title=\"heart3\" src=\"http:\/\/lacouturiernyc.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/12\/heart3.jpg?resize=12%2C10\" alt=\"heart3\" width=\"12\" height=\"10\" \/><\/a>\u00a0Watching, and dutifully re-watching <em>The Devil Wears Prada<\/em>.
