There&#8217;s nothing more satisfying than pen and paper&#8230;\u00a0save the feeling of accomplishment when filling up an entire book.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/getpocket.com\/a\/queue\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Pocket<\/strong><\/a>. Yes, you\u00a0<em>can<\/em>\u00a0read everything on the Internet&#8230; just later.\u00a0Possibly one of\u00a0<em>the<\/em> best (and one of my most used) apps in existence, second only to Google Maps (a lifesaver) and rivaling <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/kimberlypearl_\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram<\/a> (also a lifesaver), Pocket&#8217;s kind of like clipping all of your favorite articles in one little, virtual binder.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Stephen King&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/On-Writing-Anniversary-Edition-Memoir\/dp\/1439156816\" target=\"_blank\"><em>On Writing<\/em><\/a><\/strong>. Confession: I&#8217;ve never read any King.\u00a0<em>Ever<\/em>. Nor have I seen any movie remake of his best-selling classic. But if there&#8217;s one thing by him to read\u2014and one I highly recommend\u2014it&#8217;s his memoir-slash-guidebook on writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Good friends<\/strong>. Some people spend an entire lifetime\u00a0searching for their soul mates; I&#8217;ve found mine. A whole clan actually\u2014I&#8217;m lucky\u2014I can call family.
