Claudia Schiffer<\/a>\u00a0is (a 90’s supermodel, Brigitte Bardot look-alike, all around amazing because I’m a 90’s baby and everything then was better!) 30-piece knitwear collection launches on Net-a-Porter<\/a> tomorrow (it’s currently Tuesday, July 26 as I’m writing this).<\/p>\n

While I’m usually fashionably late with anything that requires immediate release (launches, trends, etc.), I made a mental note (and a Post-It, of course) of the Claudia’s upcoming collection after seeing the teeniest little feature on it in ELLE<\/a><\/em>\u00a0a month or so ago. I fell in like with it right then and there. Knits<\/strong>? Cashmere<\/strong>? Curve-hugging<\/strong>? Love<\/em>. I’m notoriously known for my love of all things body conscious and anything resembling a little sweater, fitted or hung nonchalantly off the body. Anything that falls under those descriptions make my mouth water.<\/p>\n

These are my favorites of her<\/em> favorites:<\/p>\n

The Check dress<\/strong>: For those lazy fall days, for day-long errands, for schlepping your laptop between classes. I’d pair it with leggings or skinny jeans and a pair of killer, leather ankle boots. It’s a feminine attempt at androgyny that results in something easy, laidback, and still sexy.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A-line Turtleneck dress<\/strong>: I wish I could wear the A-line silhouette, but it doesn’t work for me. But anything turtleneck has me weak at the knees. Another piece to throw on to look put together in less than a minute.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

the Granddad cardigan<\/strong>: Again, something I wish I could pull off. If I could, I’d sex it up
\n\u00e0 la Julia Restoin-Roitfeld with a pair of leather pants, and finish the look with platform pumps for a ladylike touch.<\/p>\n

The Tight knit dress<\/strong>: It was this thumbnail in ELLE<\/em> that sold me on the line. It’s the perfect knit dress I’ve been searching for all my life in terms of color, silhouette, shape, length (!) and design. Needless to say it’s my favorite of the entire collection. A well-made knit dress should enhance and hug the curves and carry you seamlessly from day to night. Tell me this little grey number isn’t it.<\/p>\n
