A Girl Can Never Have Too Many Bags

30 August 2008 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

As you all know (and are probably tired of hearing it), bags are my obsession. This infatuation, somewhat “unhealthy”,according to my mother, has increased day by day; my motto? A girl can never have enough bags.

I am pining after this Foley + Corinna City Bag (available here, on sale for$208…it was $400!!), although it is a bag I typically wouldn’t fall for. Nonetheless, it’s so simple, so chic, so versatile…this is a bag I need! Perhaps its not that “it” bag we all are lusting after, but still, I love the contrast of the black patent trimming and handles against the white canvas; it’s such a classic statement. The bag’s shape and versatility is what truly makes it unique from others. It can be carried as a tote, large enough for essentials and a book or magazine, yet not too bulky or heavy. The small details play such a large role in adding edginess to this somewhat plain bag. The exposed zipper and leather tassle gives the classic elements an edgy twist, and the shapes of the trim accentuate the shape of the bag. Once you fold the tote over you get…

…a beautiful shoulder bag, perfect for the city (and everyday) – it was properly named! (That dress is so cute by the way!) I have nothing more to say, but this: I will love you forever if you buy me this bag. Actually, I would love anyone who buys me a bag ;).

xoxo.

P.S.: Thank you all for your really sweet comments! they really made my day! =) hopefully I’ll have time to paint more – I’ll definitely post them!

They have this bag in brown leather right? I’ve been a big fan of this design for the longest time.

I would love the person who buys me this bag too! I had once state that I would marry the person who bought me a YSL muse bag… Thinking about it, thank Gawd that person didn’t! hehe.
