“The Satirical Line”

Favorites from The Costume Institute’s exhibit honoring Karl Lagerfeld’s work, titled A Line of Beauty. All marvels, each leaving me more speechless than the next. Had the space not been so overcrowded (and I, masked), I would’ve planted my feet firmly in front of each mannequin and visibly gawked until I was satiated. The details! The craftsmanship! The wonder!

It took this visit to make me fall in love with fashion all over again.
