I was flipping through my July and August issues of Teen Vogue and Elle (the ultimate fashion magazine, in my opinion), and though the specific magazine escapes my mind at the moment, the dresses were not forgotten.

This Alexander Wang Asymmetrical, one-shoulder dress is GORGEOUS. I was searching everywhere possible online for the whereabouts of the dress in hopes of being able to find it and buy one for myself (I would have to beg my mother or aunt for it though…but I think my aunt would totally let me 🙂 ) But I had no luck, so let me know if you find this dress anywhere! It is soooo fabulous; I love the mauve chiffon draped and layered over black – it’s oh-so-sexy and feminine. The silouhette is gorgeous; it’s soft, yet body hugging. I seriously wish I was Mr. Wang’s best friend right now. Then I could get the dress in a heartbeat. (I am lustingggg after this dress right now.)

The indigo blue dress, also by Alexander Wang, is available at shopbop.com. It’s not the type of dress that I usually go for, or a dress that makes you scream “I WANT IT!” under half a second flat. Look again, my friend. This simple tank wrap dress with pleating details is très chic! Finally, there’s a dress that doesn’t require much effort to get into, or have to make yourself look perfect – it’s a dress that doesn’t wear you! The color is dark enough to wear into the fall season, yet not too dark to for a day out. I love the loose fit (though I prefer curve-hugging); no one wants to wear anything tight when they’re bloated (or about to head to their favorite restaurant). All you have to do is grab oversized sunglasses, a black bag, and throw on a pair of pumps and you will look fab!

I am still pining over that chiffon dress.
