Cherish Your Solitude

10 March 2012 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

By the talented Igor + Andre.

“Cherish your solitude. Take trains by yourself to place you have never been. Sleep out alone under the stars. Learn how to drive a stick shift. Go so far away that you stop being afraid of not coming back. Say no when you don’t want to do something. Say yes if your instincts are strong, even if everyone around you disagrees. Decide whether you want to be liked or admired. Decide if fitting in is more important than finding out what you’re doing here. Believe in kissing.”

—Eve Ensler, from  Retro Japan

P.S.: Addicted to Pinterest once more. What a beautiful source of inspiration for those early mornings or late nights, paired with a cup of tea.

I’ve just moved into my first studio flat and living ‘properly’ alone for the first time, so this quote was good to read…et J’adore kissing, and if I do say so myself- I’ve perfected my technique to an art form….really I should put my kissing skills on my CV but then I’d probably be put forward for a job that would position me in an uncompromising position…

@My Fashion S/ash Life: As proper ladies, we wouldn’t want that now, would we? (; xo!
