If it isn’t already clear, Coperni‘s fall collection and its well-papped guests make it crystal that Coperni makes clothes for the bona fide It e-girl who graduated from Euphoria high: she was the Maddy who walked so Maddy Perez could run. Y2K energy bodes well for fall, and here, it’s done with measured execution. Smart tailoring helps level the short hems and bare midriffs, but make no mistake: there’s nothing apologetic or shy about this girl.

It’s her world, and she knows it.
