Inspiration du Jour: Daisy Lowe in Miu Miu S/S10

12 April 2010 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

I’m only heels over head in love with this dress. Yah know. Slightly obsessed, something of that variety.

It’s the perfect mix of the provocative, the quaint, and the eclectic; it’s quite English, I feel. At first glance it is seemingly just adorable before the well-placed cutouts are spotted. And those sleeves. They’re wondrous.

{ An  a s i d e | I’m still in awe over an email I received. From Mulberry UK’s head offices. I cannot believe they read my post on the Mulberry Alexa—and loved. it. I’m keeling over with joy and incredibly flattered that they would find, and notice, my humble blog.

And yes, I am fully entitled to my rights to gush shamelessly. To withhold any such emotion of pride/awe/disbelief would be unethical. }

♥

bisous,

La C.

P.S.: Don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a fabulous, miracle-in-a-jar skincare product ! Make sure you follow the rules, darling!

    I love her shoes! I know Daisy Lowe is a gorgeous girl in her own right, but in the pic above she reminds me a bit of Jessica Alba.

      I was just thinking the same thing!

      I love the skirt, shoes and the cardigan, but I’m not a huge fan of the top, probably b/c of the underboobage showing.

    I think the poetry of the outfit gets lost with the cut chosen for the bust area. I’ve never been a fan of that twisted skanky look for top. Love the sleeves & shoes.

    I agree about the dress, but particularly love the bird print shoes by Miu Miu, they’re so individual.
    I’m thoroughly jealous about your e-mail from the Mulberry hq, congrats!

    hey really good little website you got here 🙂 I work with the identical theme on my own blog yet for whatever silly reason it seems to reload more rapid on this web site despite the fact that the one you have contains way more content material. Have you been employing some plug ins or widgets that will speed it up? Do you think you could share the plug ins so I might use them in my own website so twilight breaking dawn fans could watch twilight new moon online trailers and videos faster I’d personally be thankful – thank you in advance 🙂 Articles 02:48

    i absolutely ADORE the skirt part of the dress, its so pretty.
    but the under-boobage is not attractive, even on someone as gorgeous as daisy lowe.

    I absolutely adore the dress, but for, as everyone else has agreed, the underboobage. It’s not that I mind revealing clothing, it just…doesn’t flatter her, draws attention to the wrong spot. I love your blog, and can’t help but say, Major Congrats!
