THINGS I MISS

• wandering around New York City without an agenda, just adventure on the mind
• discovering new cafes, sipping gorgeous lattes, reading a book in a cozy corner
• walking for hours
• people-watching
• lunch or dinner dates at my favorite local restaurants
• museums
• going out when I don’t want to, but ending the night happy I did

THINGS I DEFINITELY DON’T

• 14-hour workdays with little time to breathe
• spending money on $8 lattes every day (the indulgence, I do miss; the throwing away of money, I most certainly don’t)
• Penn Station, but especially during rush hour
• forcing myself to commit to obligatory facetime (the IRL thing) no matter how draining, because I’ve run out of excuses
• driving in traffic
• but really, driving at all
