Five Things (10.28.16)

28 October 2016 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

1. I started painting my new place—or rather, my dad (insisted) on painting himself. I, being useful as ever, sat on the floor of each room, literally staring at blank walls and empty closets in an attempt to envision what these rooms could be. It still feels a little surreal since I’ve only been able to visit my condo once since buying it (time is not on my side, my friends), but it’s beginning to feel a little more…mine.

2. Emmy’s Coconut Dark Cacao Cookies are mind-blowing. Like, melt-in-your mouth delicious—and mind you, I don’t even like chocolate that much. (Also, they’re vegan!)

3. It’s not often that I buy cookbooks (I don’t cook), but I couldn’t pass on picking up a copy of The Love & Lemons cookbook. It’s undoubtedly beautiful—but it’s the collection of plant-based dishes that won me over. I know it’s early, but stock up on a few copies to gift during the holiday season. There’s nothing like good (healthy) food to warm the belly and supporting a woman making a name for herself in the food industry.

4. Brazilian catsuits/jumpsuits are the best thing that has happened to women since the high-waist legging. If you don’t own one yet, you should. I’m on a catsuit-buying spree, you guys, and I do not plan on stopping.

5. My best friends and I are having a reunion this weekend. T-10 hours until I get to see my favorite women again.

xx
