The Holiday Makeup Look: Vampy Lips + Nails

Been keeping this look (from Cushnie et Ochs’ Spring 2016 runway show) on tap for the holiday season; it finally feels appropriate now that we’re exactly 12 days away from Christmas. It’s vampy, it’s modern: just festive enough, but not a literal interpretation of holiday makeup. I love a bright red lip-and-nail combo as much as everyone else, but it feels overdone come December. This year, I want to amp it up. I want edgier, I want vampier, I want sexier.

Just don’t catch me under the mistletoe.
