Trend Report: Hot Pink + Red for Summer

22 July 2011 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

Enamored.

emma stone red pink red carpet axe friends with benefits

Emma Stone is one of my red carpet favorites, always looking undeniably feminine and classic. Currently feasting my eyes on this Giambattista Valli look, and despite my qualms with the color pink, I’ve discovered that I actually do like it. (A work outfit of the day last week consisted of a hot pink, high-waisted pencil skirt—the shade to the likeness of Emma’s—and a black 3/4-sleeve shirt with black pumps!) But I digress; there’s something so addictive about this color combination that is made even better with her fiery mane. Hot red and hot pink: It’s all about the hot, hot, hot this summer, literally and figuratively speaking…

Loving the black winged eye and pink lips, too.
